About Print Layouts

The layout determines the size and number of pictures printed on a single page. The Print layout drop-down menu provides layouts available for the selected paper size.  

u Full-size picture layouts print a single picture covering the printable area supported by your printer. If your printer supports borderless or no-margin printing for the current paper size and paper type, this layout prints a picture that covers the paper from edge to edge. To select a paper type and enable borderless printing, click Setup.

u Single-picture layouts center the picture on the current paper size, leaving an even border around the edges.

u Multiple-picture layouts print the maximum number of pictures at the selected size with each picture appearing on the page as many times as indicated in the Quantity field. If there are not enough pictures to completely fill the layout openings, some openings will be blank.

u Small format layouts are designed to print pictures from a printer dock.

u Advanced Photo System layouts are designed to print pictures from your Advanced Photo System camera. Layouts include 1 up 4x7, 2 up 4x7, and 1 up 4x10.

u Index Print prints 72 thumbnails on a single sheet of 8.5 x 11 in. paper or prints 20 thumbnails on a single sheet of 4 x 6 in. or 3.5 x 5 in. paper. If you have a large number of thumbnails, additional pages are printed.
